The Law


New and existing drivers are required to complete Periodic Training within the 5 years following their acquired rights or initial Driver CPC to keep it valid. The EU Directive will ensure the driver CPC is the responsibility of the individual so if you do move company your qualification will move with you.

A Note of Warning

Operators could choose to leave all of the training for their existing drivers until 2013. 

 

Cambrian Training strongly recommends against this.

 

There is a limited training supply for the sector and if there is a large hike in demand at the last minute this is likely to drive up the costs of training.
